Today, as in the English Renaissance, there are many beliefs and superstitions about ghost and such other things. At my house and in my family we don’t go by a lot of them though. There are some such as throwing salt over your shoulder if you spill it or holding your breath while going over a bridge or by a cemetary. Another is not putting shoes on top of a table because it causes bad luck which I learned from Apryl and now go by all the time. 
Those are pretty much it. We don’t get into the superstitions a lot but we did have a ghost in our basement in our old house though. There were two old ladies and they would talk and go up and down the stairs at night. Spooky huh?
